Balkan Flexipass
The Balkan Flexipass project is a visual study of the Balkan area. I decided to travel across the Balkan area in order to discover “my Balkans” with starting point Thessaloniki, Makedonia Greece. Since 1990 dramatic changes have been occurred in this area, which have been described easily and painless by the media (t.v, newspapers). My intention was to see and learn more about this area and the people who live in or visit it.
From the beginning I was interesting on recording the real profile of the Balkan area and I used the train as a device to get rid of the fake and pointless information. Firstly I focused on similarities and differences and secondly to capture symbols that could characterize this particular area
